The Glendale Heights Fest Fireworks are Sunday, July 14th starting at approximately 9:30 pm at Camera Park! This spectacular event
lights up the sky with dazzling displays of color and sound, creating a magical experience for all ages. It is has been called “the
best fireworks in the western suburbs”. With crowds over 15,000 expected to head to Camera Park for the display and thousands
others throughout the community, we wanted to remind our attendees with some important information:
- If you are just present to view the fireworks display, you do NOT have to enter the Glendale Heights Fest grounds. The display
is visible anywhere surrounding the Glendale Heights Fest grounds and Camera Park.
- Parking lots fill up fast starting early in the day so arrive early to grab a good seat.
- Fullerton Avenue will be closed between President St. and Bloomingdale Rd. on Sunday, July 14th between 7:00 pm and 11:00 pm.
This means vehicles parked in the parking lots along Fullerton Ave will not be allowed to exit until the roadways are clear of
pedestrian traffic.
- The fireworks display is very loud so ear protection is encouraged.
- Due to the loud and bright fireworks display, those sensitive to these sensory displays are encouraged to take the necessary
precautions or avoid the area until after the display. This includes animals/pets and veterans who may suffer from PTSD.
